FARM DIRECTOR – responsible for Operations (ODF010710GG)

One of the world’s largest international agricultural groups is currently looking for a highly motivated farming professional to take on the role of Operations Director of its farms all over Ukraine to continue building its farming operations both organically and through acquisitions. The position reports directly to CEO and the Chairman of the board and is preferably English-speaking.

Responsibilities: Provide profitability of the farms. Work with local agronomists to organize and coordinate crop rotations. Plan seed, fertilizer, chemical, and equipment input. Limit the administrative overhead. Control waste and theft. The person must be prepared to travel on longer business trips around Ukraine on frequent basis.

Requirements: Educational background as agronomist, economist, engineer, or any other technical or business – related field with focus farming or running a business. Experience as a farm manager / director, project manager, financial director, operational manager, entrepreneur or any other position where you had to plan, make decisions, manage a team of 5-20 people, and answer for the financial results. 3-5 years of management experience in a western or large Ukrainian enterprise. Experience developing and improving processes and controls for new or recently acquired business. Analytical skills sufficient to understand what activities and improvements will generate profit. Self-motivated. You must help the company to grow exponentially. Hands-on, detail-oriented and well organized. You must be able to step into the position, start gathering information, and within a short time, start making decisions and solving problems. Excellent communication skills and experience working with local authorities. Desire to learn the agricultural business. Some English skills are preferred but not mandatory. Native Ukrainian and / or Russian. Experience working with Microsoft Excel, Word, Project. Highest degree of personal integrity is a must.

SALES MANAGER: agricultural machinery (SM150210PD)

Agricultural sales professionals with good command of English are required to join our client's expanding sales team in Ukraine. The employer is a foreign owned, fast growing agriculture solutions provider.

The primary responsibilities of the position are: To carry out regular trips around Ukraine aimed at obtaining of new customers and increasing of sales. To identify potential distributors and importers. To keep record of the clients' data base. To clarify technical requirements and questions for new enquiries. To participate in exhibitions. To carry out sales of single machines and process lines from enquiry to completion stage. Draft contracts preparation. To follow up ongoing projects (delivery time, shipments, timely submission of related documentation in co-ordination with responsible project manager from abroad, etc). To fulfill sales budget. Reporting.

Applicants for this position should have the following qualifications/experience: Sales experience no less than 5 year, preferably in agricultural sphere. Higher education. English - upper intermediate, Russian or/and Ukrainian - native. Driving license and driving experience, own car. Age: up to 35. Computer literate. Ready for business trips all over Ukraine.
